Public Speaking
Pediatric & Adult Therapy Associates offers presentation training is designed to prepare participants for their next public speaking assignment, including:
- Sales presentations
- Inservice presentations
- Informational speech
- Community or Service Organization presentation
This course can be custom-designed to individual or company needs. Individuals can receive coaching utilizing videotape on presentation techniques. Specific topics to be addressed include:
- Organization
- Humor
- Performance techniques
- Audio visual and props
- Handouts
- Openings
- Word choice
- Story-telling techniques
- Personal appearance
For non-native speakers of English, we may provide pronunciation and intonation advice feedback during rehearsal to improve the ability of the audience to not only understand the presentation, but shift the focus to what the person is saying, not how the person is saying it. Vocabulary and business idioms appropriate to the topic will also be emphasized to ensure that desired outcomes are achieved.
